Quality Technician

Job duites:

Surgical product records and/or conduct inspections to release materials for use in manufacturing or release finished goods to inventory in a medical device regulated environment.

Review supplier documentation and conduct required inspections to release raw materials and components to manufacturing. Work with contract labs to coordinate testing of materials.

Reviews DHRs and batch records for completeness and accuracy. Perform verification and release processes for final product release.

Work with contract sterilizers and labs to coordinate sterilization of product and final product testing.

Organizes and maintains accessory release records I files for archiving. (Batch records, lHRs, deviations).

Initiate nonconformances as appropriate. Performs product investigations or research as requested. Communicates findings to appropriate personnel

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED is required. Technical Degree (2 year Associate) in scientific or medical field or equivalent experience preferred.

Training to ISO 13485 and GMPs required. Training to ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and other country regulations desired.

Technology Skills: Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Database Management. Training to include local software systems like ERPLx, CAMs, and Catsweb.

Prior Quality Assurance experience in a medical device I pharmaceutical manufacturer-1- 3 years experience preferred.
