Job Purpose
Functions as the Product Line Owner, responsible for products full life cycle, from concept through product development, production and possible obsolescence. Unique combination of technical, commercial, company and competitive responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
Global responsibility for revenue and margin expansion of defined products.
With Sales, build relationships with strategic customers and channels driving new business development. Supports sales teams across the globe in driving product revenue strategies.
Defines the product strategy and roadmap. Creates annual and long:term plans for product portfolio within the business and applies analysis and insights to develop product strategies for segmentation, targeting, and positioning of products in assigned portfolio;
Outline target markets for existing products,
Define value proposition for all products,
Determine focus markets for new products,
Conduct VOC to identify unmet needs,
Identifies and develops new market opportunities for new and existing products.
Responsible for the management of the entire product life cycle (cradle to grave).
Drive new product development pipeline : researches and recommends new products and services or market opportunities consistent with business capabilities and objectives.
Leads the development of new products. Manages the commercial aspects of the new product development (NPD) process, leading cross:functional teams in the execution of product development initiatives.
Develops product launch plans and collaborates with Marketing for development of New Product Commercialization plans.
Supports RFQs and product concept proposals for new business.
Serves as subject matter expert for business intelligence data on assigned product families to support internal team, field sales, channel partners and end customers as required.
Communicates with and influences other departments in developing strategic sales and marketing plans and programs.
Manages profitability through pricing and cost management actions. Conducts cost and margin analysis and determines product pricing and profitability. Recommends list pricing.
Monitors and assesses competitive products and programs and as a result develops and implements proactive strategies to strengthen competitive edge.
Manages integrity of data specific to
Installation/Operation Guides, Performance Data Sheets, Labels, etc. as part of the product BOM.

Experience
3:5 Years of experience in heavy equipment industry : must.
Product marketing management experience : preferred.
Experience working with cross:functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift priorities as needed to best support the business.
International business experience : preferred.
