Job Description:/h3:
The primary duties of the Funder are to manage all stages of the processes. The pre:funding responsibilities include check processing, verifying lender wire amounts and managing the funding inbox. The funding process includes the calculation of payoff figures and processing borrower funds and wires. Post:funding responsibilities involve lender escrow checks and disbursement of HOI and property tax checks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Manage and organize funding emails. Research incoming emails for returned tax/HOI and county overage checks and recut per lenders directive. Send emails to correct company location regarding incoming wires
:Process stop payments to include voiding and reissuing of checks per lenders request
:Verify and confirm lender wire figures prior to funding
:Ensure file is clear to fund with funding authorization and signed loan documents in file prior to disbursing
:Receive and book Lender wire
:Calculate payoff figures and send payoff wire to payoff lender
:Receive and deposit borrower funds due at closing
:Send out broker wire or borrower proceeds wires
:Prepare two step verification process for approval of all outgoing wires
:Send Wires to VPT to enable funding in states we do not fund
:Organize all disbursed checks for each file
:Send out invoice and pest inspection checks with reference invoices
:Oversee customer file findings and wire appropriate funds when needed to ensure they can fund the file
:Collect lender escrow netting/hold back checks until payoff clears
:Send out HOI checks and ensure proper party receives payment
:Send out Property Tax checks to county/city
:All other duties assigned by management

:Must have advanced technological literacy with the ability to successfully navigate across various software platforms including Microsoft Office Suite
:Must be self:motivated and detail:oriented
:Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
:Must have strong organizational skills and proactively manage deadlines
:Must have strong interpersonal skills
:Must have strong problem solving skills
:Able to manage a variety of priorities simultaneously

Education and Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: At least 0:6 months experience in mortgage lending office environment
