Seeking an LPN to perform clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician.

Clinical Responsibilities
Taking and recording vital signs, reason for visit/chief complaint and medical histories
Preparing patients for examination inadherence to the MD's schedules
Performing diagnostic testing including EKG's, spirometry, INR's and glucose testing
Assisting with procedures
Properly preparing, labeling and documenting laboratory samples
Administer and document vaccines and therapeutic injections
Supervise Medical Assistants
Identify opportunities for improvement, create processes, train staff and implement.

Administrative Responsibilities
Triaging patient phone calls
Medication refills
Scheduling appointments
Updating medical records
Medication inventory
Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
Ordering supplies
Training of Medical Assistants
Managing work flow throughout the day.
Writing orders for ALF and Hospice

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the state in which the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices.
Must be computer literate and able to type 50+ WPM
Must have a flexible schedule M-F: 8:30am-6:00pm
Experience with EMR (e-ClinicalWorks preferred)
Able to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality of care
Able to multitask, take initiative, manage MA's and be adaptable to changing priorities.
Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
Current Health Certificate (per facility).
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
One year prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience.
Current BLS card.
Successful completion of the screening tests
