Glaucoma Specialist


The Eye Institute of West Florida has an immediate opening for an additionalfellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. An practiced surgeon is preferred,but all candidates will be considered. Candidates must be Board certified or Board eligible. tasks will include the medical and surgical care of complex glaucoma patients. The option of caring for a significant pediatric population is available at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Academic appointment is possible at the University of South Florida. A partnership track is available.

Located all over the Tampa Bay area, The Eye Institute currently includes 11 fellowship-trained, board certifiedspecialists in cataract, refractive surgery, LASIK, retina, glaucoma, cornea and oculoplastics; 4 comprehensive ophthalmologists, and9 optometrists. The practice includes four well-equipped locations, aclinical research departmentand a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. We benefit from a well integrated optometric and physician referral network.
