Job Description
QC Data Coordinator and Verification Specialist
The QC Data Coordinator and Verification Specialist will direct and manage activities and coordination between the various Company Operations, Regulatory, QC, and Marketing teams in creating product item data sheets within the QC Portal and providing these sheets on:time, in:full, in:compliance to the various internal stakeholders and external manufacturing sites (10) as it pertains to the products being produced. Responsibilities include ownership for the central coordination of all data elements, creating product item data sheets, data sheets verification and finalizing in the QC portal, quality review, and sending this information to the various external manufacturing locations/sites to use in producing products. The QC Data Coordinator and Verification Specialist will work with headquarter planners, procurement, regulatory, marketing, QC, and suppliers to insure all appropriate aspects of data elements, such as P.O., bill of materials, labels, specifications, etc. are meeting all company, local, federal, and/or international requirements in a fully accurate and compliant manner.
The QC Data Coordinator and Verification Specialist will:
* Manage all coordination of items needed to create the item data sheet to include working with planning, procurement, regulatory, QC, marketing, and suppliers. Responsible owner of item data sheets and acts accordingly to insure continual improvement of plant performance and customer relations as a key member in support of cross:functional efforts to insure compliant, on:time products are delivered.
* Upload the item data sheets into the QC Portal System
* Verify label against the item data and confirm the label is correct
* Pull P.O.s and confirm the item data sheet(s) matches the P.O.s.
* Following document verifications send confirmations to QC and Procurement.
* Manage completed documents and build into applicable production schedules with QC checks/reviews. Perform in a manner that builds cross:functional support and fosters overall business/site manufacturing deliverables.
* Performs quality reviews and identifies discrepancies and/or areas requiring improvement and works with the various functions and suppliers to escalate issues/notify
personnel/management as appropriate to resolve with appropriate sense of urgency and leadership. Drives overall improvement.
* A minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required.
* QC/QA background with positions of
accountability/ownership including a minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply
chain/manufacturing labeling, preferably in the cosmetic or consumer industry, both domestic and international
* Highly skilled, prioritizes work based on the business need, and requires minimal supervision the performance of roles and responsibilities. Operates in a collaborative manner with strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally.
* Contract manufacturing experience preferred
* Experience with QA Systems. Strong in use and application of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
