Overview:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans focused on human capital management, customer satisfaction and business performance for assigned client groups. The HR BPs report to the Director, Human Resources located in Clearwater.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Required:
:This team will serve Tech Data by deploying HR programs best aligned to meet the needs of their assigned client groups. Deep knowledge of client group needs combined with knowledge of HR services/programs will enable the HR BP to connect the right resources. Through this, the HR Business Partner will maximize performance and human capital development within their assigned client groups.
:The HR Business Partner will serve as the primary liaison between their client groups and the various HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), including, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Leadership
Development/Succession Planning, Diversity and Inclusion, Compensation, and Benefits. They will collaborate with HR COEs to execute enterprise:wide programs and solutions that meet business needs.
:The HR BP will effectively balance business partner responsibility with employee advocacy and build a positive employee relations culture and work environment. They will act as a change agent/leader and culture steward. The HR BP will develop and implement plans and actions to improve employee engagement, foster inclusion, and enhance manager effectiveness.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities and Working Conditions:
:This role supports leaders of Tech Data as a strategist, coach, facilitator, and architect.
:Adaptability to change is readily needed as well as building solid effective work relationships with multiple levels of leadership.
:HR BPs will rely heavily on verbal and written communications skills for both informal dialogues as well as conducting formal presentations.
:This role involves an assumptive leadership element when guiding business leaders as well as collaborating with the HR COEs. Therefore, appropriate levels of assertiveness will be expected to achieve mutually beneficial results for the client groups as well as the HR team.
:The HR Business Partner will have the opportunity to enhance and deepen their knowledge of HR programs such as talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, compensation, and benefits.
:This role will also garner deep business acumen through immersion in client group activities, communications and people development.

Education and Experience:
:A Bachelors degree and PHR certification is preferred.
:Success in this role will be enabled by seven or more years of experience working in Human Resources.
