In the role of Assistant General Manager, your passion and your strategic vision will lead the store team in providing an iconic customer experience, ensuring maximum profitability. You will achieve and maintain operational excellence through the efficient running of all areas of the store. Your commercial awareness, connection to your local client base and partnership with the Regional and Corporate teams will ensure your stores success. You will collaborate with your General Manager to create and lead all store sales and training initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
: Responsible for the recruitment, training and development of staff and performance management
: Competitive shop to understand market and recruit effectively
: Design programs and incentives to maintain a team environment within the store
: Provide monthly one on one sessions with staff, in addition to a weekly touch base with the management team
: Resolve interpersonal issues in partnership with General Manager
: Create, implement and lead all sales and training initiatives
: Observe staff on the selling floor and their interaction with customers, co:workers and overall customer service level for purposes of reaching independent conclusions regarding areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
: In partnership with GM provide training to new hires and provide continuous refresher and specialized training, as needed, to sales associates
: Identify patterns in mystery shop scores, identify and execute training to increase overall scores
: Assist with coaching associates in CRM program, including in the following areas: Thank you notes, Invite Back, Reactivation, follow up with staff on client books, client outreach, marketing outreach in area (i.e. charities, events)
: Process Payroll maintaining schedules and ensuring staff adheres to attendance and punctuality policies and procedures
: Manage store execution in accordance with the companys visual and operational standards and the circumstances and market issues applicable to each individual store
: Analyze sales results and work with General Manager to create specialized action plans to achieve desired results
: Prepare and execute staff communications in areas for improvement, areas of success, and other issues as deemed appropriate
PERSONAL PROFILE:
: Excellent leadership and people management skills
: Proven track record from a luxury brand
: Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and assess talent
: Excellent communication skills at all levels
: Proven ability to increase sales and profitability
: Strong clientele background
: Sound commercial and brand awareness
: Experience within a General Manager or equivalent level
