These are as art deco as you can get in tables from the 1970's.The bases alone had to cost at least $200 each. There made from blended solid steel square and rectangle tubing without any plastic cap ends and all the welds have been ground down then polished so they look like there one unibody piece. Most cantilever tables have one piece of steel holding the tops up that bend with any kind of weight or lamps. These are well made with 4 braces made from square tubing holding the top up that allows for wider cantilever curve. You can stand on these and they won't bend. These originally had round glass tops I replaced with a beautiful pair of tempered octagonal glass tops that were $85 each. They have 1" bevels and are a true 3/8" thick and are 28" in diameter.Because of the wider cantilever curve the octagonal glass tops look like it's floating over the bases.I've only seen this style table once on 1st dibs were they sold for $950 for the pair with round glass tops not octagonal.I'm selling both tables for only $200.This price is firm so there's no need for offers.727-479-6513
