Ground Maintenance Functional Facilitator and Training Instructor - Logistics Management Institute

This position is on the staff of a government consulting firm headquartered in Tysons, VA. The Ground Maintenance Functional Facilitator and Training Instructor will work on:site as a contractor authorized to accompany the force (CAAF) at client organization located in Kuwait, with occasional travel required to military unit locations. Under the guidance of the assigned Government lead, coordinate and facilitate on:site operator training and first line trouble shooting and problem solving skills in Global Combat Support System:Army (GCSS:Army). Candidate must be able to deploy to austere environments and be able to provide expert guidance and directives in support of Ground Maintenance users. Candidate must be able to provide one:on:one support as well as coordinate and facilitate group setting post conversion instruction. Assist Government representative(s) in GCSS:Army Ground Maintenance transactions as required.Serve as a first:line liaison to the organizational leadership, advising on system capability, usage and proficiency level of current operators.Leverage the currently provided training documents and materials available and assist in developing of organization specific training materials.Evaluate and provide comments/recommendations on organization change management and post conversion evaluations.Candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training for conversion activities, as well as a program of instruction (POI) and delivering training for rotational operators post conversionPossess an in:depth knowledge of post conversion system sustainment protocol. Maintain continuous contact with sustainment stakeholders and communicate to organization upcoming capability enhancements, potential retrofit requirements, software release updates as well changes/updates to GCSS:Army sustainment protocol. BachelorA?s degree and 10+ years of Army Logistics experience or 15+ years of Army Logistics experience without a degree. Candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of direct experience in an SAP platform, preferably within GCSS:Army.Candidate must possess requisite knowledge, skills and abilities within Army Logistics Operations, specifically pertaining to logistics systems and ERP conversions.Must have 2+ years GCSS:Army instructor experienceCandidate must have expertise in the use of various computer (hardware and software) and peripheral packages/devices, to include Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.Must be a critical thinker with exceptional problem solving abilities and able to work autonomously. Must be a team player and proficient writer and communicatorMust be able to deploy to austere environments.Experience with United States Army Special Operations Command and subordinate entities and Joint/DoD environments a plus.Army logistics instructor certification is a plusMust possess and maintain an active Secret clearance.
