Manages the day:to:day physician scheduling process. Provides liaison function between Operations departments and assists in planning for the efficient utilization of staffing resources. Prepares in:house physician schedules for assigned hospitals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Supervise Division Staffing Coordinators, providing guidance and assistance as required
:Lead Scheduling team to success through teambuilding and establishing, implementing and monitoring scheduling protocols and guidelines for the Division.
:Work with the Managers of Recruiting, Credentialing and Enrollment to determine and implement divisional best practices.
:Prepare end:of:month scheduling reports including increase comp totals and projections.
:Work with RCEO, RCOO, RCA, Medical Directors and Divisional Medical Directors to address client or clinician scheduling needs and concerns.
:Prepare in:house monthly schedules for a few assigned hospitals. Copy and mail to the clinicians and hospital administration. Fill open shifts as they arise during the month.
:Provide hospitals and EmCare personnel with monthly schedules.
:Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
:Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
Effective information systems security is a team effort involving the participation and support of every EmCare employee who deals with information and/or information systems. It is the responsibility of every employee to: Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Comply with Information Systems security policies, standards and procedures. Use all available protections to safeguard computer systems under their charge from unauthorized access. Report all suspicious requests, incidents, and situations

Knowledge and Skills:
:Ability to manage others is preferred.
:Ability to excel in a fast:paced, high stress environment essential.
:Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
:Demonstration of strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Databases and e:mail (Lotus Notes preferred).
