This person is taking in First Notice of Loss calls from homeowners that are looking to file a possible claim from damage. Share in First Notice of Loss phone coverage and handle periods of high call volume. They will establish claim setup for losses received via email, fax, policyholder and/or agent calls. Provide guidance on claims process. Take ownership of calls and provides a point of contact, if needed. Process email or fax correspondence to the appropriate claims staff. Provide exceptional customer service while being truly empathetic. 1 year of CSR experience either on phones or in person. Pursuing or have a college degree. Must have an interest to get into insurance industry. Able to stay calm and be empathetic, great people skills. Able to work a dual monitor and data entry into their easy software system to capture the info from their questions. This company is a tobacco free company. MS Office proficient- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Effectively communicates using proper grammar and punctuation written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills Strong written and verbal communication skills including use of proper grammar and punctuation Technology adept including Browser and Computer savvy and the use of various office equipment Presents in a polite, polished, and professional manner upon dealing with customers and co-workers
