Assists in areas of budgeting, financial reporting, financial modeling/forecasting, and/or other daily/monthly accounting processes. Completes various account analyses and/or account billings. Identifies, researches, and resolves items impacting the financial statements.Prepares various account analyses and reconciliationsPrepares monthly journal entries and accrualsProvides support to various counterparts for US GAAP conceptsProvides financial/analytical support to various departmentsResearches issues/discrepancies pertaining to financial informationAssists in the collection and dissemination of financial informationDevelops complex ad hoc reports and financial analysesEscalates issues to management in a timely mannerIdentifies opportunities for process improvementsAbility to prepare clear and concise documentationPerforms additional duties as assignedThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Bachelors Degree in Accounting requiredCPA license preferredStrong understanding of US GAAP conceptsApproximately 3 : 15 years experience in Accounting or Finance.Willingness and ability to travel 20:30 to support accounting counterpartsLargely self:directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management itiates projects and sets timelines and expectations.Assigns duties and resources where necessary to achieve success.Self starting thinking required for analysis, evaluation, creating, reasoning, and drawing conclusions/solutions; HIGH complexity of mental process to achieve in the role in order to come to solutions.Applies broad knowledge and experience when addressing complex issues.Defines strategic issues clearly despite ambiguity.Makes sound, timely decisions. Balances strategic and tactical goals and objectives.Understands corporate objectives at all levels of the organization.Knowledge and application of Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Intermediate/Advanced Access (preferred), and Intermediate PowerPoint (preferred)Mentoring and coaching Human Relation Skills required: Good communication skills, attention to detail, adaptable to change, displays accuracy and timeliness, financial and business acumen, high decision quality, professionalism, teamwork, able to maintain confidential information Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
