Senior Financial Analyst Location FL - Tampa/St. Petersburg Department Accounting Apply Now The Senior Financial Analyst provides reporting and analysis services to the company. This role plays an integral part in the planning process by providing information to managers and executives that is used for decision-making purposes. This position requires an energetic, intelligent individual with accounting and financial analysis experience who is innovative and can execute in a fast-paced environment. The Financial Planning and Analysis team supports management in establishing business objectives and developing action plans to achieve them. This team is a key asset in the future growth of the company by researching market and industry trends, identifying operational drivers that impact financial results, and converting data into actionable business intelligence. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Prepare and analyze financial plans, forecasts, operational information and reports Compare and evaluate budgets and forecasts with actual results Analyze financial and operational results and variances to identify meaningful trends and metrics Identify and facilitate process improvement opportunities Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports and making presentations of findings, including the use of charts and graphs to illustrate results Establish and maintain collaborative relationships within the finance department as well as business units across the organization Re-prioritize projects as needed and focus resources to achieve goals and meet deadlines QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 to 10 years of related work experience required Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and macros Proficiency in Hyperion a plus Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem solving skills Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism Demonstrate and uphold all of Power Design's core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation and growth Non-smoker BENEFITS: National health and dental plans.
