Position Description Summary: We are seeking talented, motivated, sales oriented, quota driven candidates with either a 220 or 4-40 license to join our fast growing Insurance Agency. The selected individuals must be self-motivated, hardworking, reliable, experienced with personal lines and be highly ethical. These positions will entail all responsibilities involved with the day to day activities of a Property and Casualty Lines Sales, Insurance Agent. Duties and Responsibilities: Selling Auto, Home and other personal lines products to individuals and families within an assigned territory using consultative sales techniques Contacting customers using established lead methodologies for new business Exceeding sales goals for volume of new business quoted Selling complex coverage per underwriting guidelines for multiple states with multiple carriers Selling to different carriers niche markets and quickly accessing the correct risk for each carrier Inbound/Outbound customer calls to develop quotes based upon incoming leads and risk information Minimum Position Requirements: This position requires a current Florida 220 Property and Casualty General Lines or a 2044 Personal Lines License Must have a minimum of 2, but prefer 3-5 years of proven track record insurance sales experience. Call center distribution model is a PLUS. Organizational skills and effective time management is required to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Utilize a consultative sales approach to educate customers in order to tailor insurance coverage specific to their needs, and potential exposures Excellent communication/interpersonal skills/team player Must be computer literate-Proficient in MS Office products and customer relationship management (CRMs) software and Comp Rater High School graduate or equivalent Spanish a plus We have offices in Tampa, Florida (HQ) and New York.
