Job Description:/h3:
Tech Data is seeking a highly motivated professional for a Finance position supporting Information Technology. A successful candidate will be a team player possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills, experience interacting with Sr. Management, and an aptitude for financial analysis. Role will develop and lead accounting activities and oversees the completion of special financial reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Required:
Management Responsibilities:
:Oversees financial reporting and analysis to ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness.
:Provides input into the development of budget and assists with reconciliation.
:Promotes a customer service focused environment in support of internal customers.
:Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the group and cross departmentally.
Adhoc Analyses:
:Mentors and develops staff.
:Performs Cost:Benefit analyses on Information Technology department projects.
:Performs post:audits of IT investments at a designated time period after implementation to analyze financial impact.
:Analyze project cash flows to aid in forecasting future financial needs of the organization.
:Coordinating with the higher management on expenditures needed for current and future projects and their impact on the company.
:Driving financial planning processes and capital budget decisions.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities and Working Conditions:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
:Required Educational: Bachelor Degree plus approximately 3 : 10 years experience in Accounting or Finance with 1:2 years being Management experience.
:Self directed, able to achieve objectives with some management input.
:Able to direct others to reach objectives.
:Able to work well with Accounting and Finance departments along with select internal/external customers.
:Strong financial acumen and decision making abilities.
:Ability to initiate projects and set timelines and expectations.
:Ability broad knowledge and experience when addressing complex issues.
:Ability to define strategic issues clearly despite ambiguity.
:Ability to make sound, timely decisions.
:Balances strategic and tactical goals and objectives.
:Understands corporate objectives at all levels of the organization.
:Generally manages team members doing similar tasks.
:May manage exempt and/or nonexempt team members.
:May manage supervisors as well.
:Very good communication skills (oral and written).
:Adaptable to change, high decision quality, professionalism, team work, ability to recognize and reward team members, ability to hire, develop and retain talent, ability to effectively deal with employee relations issues, demonstrates leadership and self:assuredness.
:HIGH level of self starting thinking required for analysis, evaluation, creating, reasoning, and drawing
conclusions/solutions; HIGH complexity of mental process to achieve in the role in order to come to solutions.
:Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
:Strong Excel (Pivot tables, Formulas, Macros etc.) and Access database skills are preferred.
