Learn more about American Integrity Insurance and our job opportunities at Inside Claims Manager Reports to: SVP of Claims Services The Inside Claims Manager oversees and manages the day:to:day operations of the internal claims adjuster staff including training and development and compliance with company policies and procedures. He/she addresses additional roles as needed within the Claims department to meet desired outcomes and provides support to Senior Vice President of Claims in driving claims strategies. Identifies and addresses coverage, underwriting and legal issues. Reviews, evaluates, counsels, and coaches staff. Documents and maintains appropriate records of performance.Conducts, assists in or supervises employee orientation and identifies and participates in on:going training and development needs of all team staff.Reviews all reserves and payments within established authority. Assists in establishing and improving accurate and timely reserving municates quality and service standards to staff and vendors.Assists and trains Adjusters in the recognition and investigation of fraud, subrogation, and/or salvage.Establishes effective procedures for the timely resolution of claims.Continuously evaluates and improves the overall effectiveness of the unit, including developing and improving workflow to optimize functionality.Reviews and supervises claim handling throughout the unit.Identifies and advises management of trends, problems and issues, as well as recommended courses of action; recommends to management new ideas for continuous process improvement.Leads by example in professional knowledge and development.Education: BachelorA?s Degree or equivalent. Experience: Seven (7) to ten (10) years property claims experience, at least three (3) of which have been in a supervisory role. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of claims management.Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.Leadership, management, and motivational skills.Analytical and interpretive skills.Strong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Outstanding negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to meet or exceed defined metrics and performance competencies.Working Conditions: Normal business office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while constantly operating a computer and or other office productivity machinery such as a calculator or telephone.
