We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join the Healthcare Assurance Practice in Tampa, FL. This is a very unique opportunity to work closely with a seasoned Partner and leader of DHGA?s Healthcare Assurance practice in a dynamic market that has been identified by the Firm as a strategic priority.Work with leadership to develop and drive the profitability and growth of the Healthcare Assurance practice in the Florida marketDevelop and review audit plans and lead execution of audit strategies while proactively managing all aspects associated with audit engagements (planning, fieldwork, and completion) and other attest and/or advisory projects that may arise Manage completion and review of engagement planning, audit procedures, and reporting deliverables prior to delivery and review by the engagement partner Direct all activities within audit and non:audit related projects, including communicating with client management, coordinating the work of other team members, completing and monitoring fieldwork progress and providing updates to the client and Partners Demonstrate thought leadership and manage complex projectsUtilize technical knowledge of the Healthcare industryBuild client relationships and collaborate with others to develop new businessManage and provide direction, training, and support to junior and senior audit crease revenue in professional fee lines by developing and selling audit consulting products that support health care providers including hospitals, physicians, managed care organizations, and ambulatory surgery centers.Ensure appropriate staffing levels by evaluating current staff skills and identifying recruiting needs based on business potential.Provide direction to staff in conducting onsite/offsite review.Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff Demonstrated analytical and research skills with an emphasis on quality Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions in an effective and efficient manner At all times, maintain an executive presence and professional demeanor, reflective of the FirmLI:STBA or BS in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Healthcare Policy requiredMasters degree (MBA/MPH/MPA) preferred10+ years in an assurance role required5+ years healthcare audit experience requiredCPA certification requiredExperience in managing multiple assignments on an ongoing basis requiredProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite with advanced level skills in Excel preferredFlexibility for travelDesire to build an exciting career with the support of a senior Partner and a group of high:performing teammates
